Spent the afternoon on the trails with our Arrow of Light Scouts finishing up their final adventures before crossover. Watching them explore habitats, identify trees, and connect the dots between wildlife and environment, there’s no better classroom than the outdoors.

Preserving Upstate Wetland

As one of the largest protected urban wetlands in Upstate South Carolina, Rocky River Nature Park is a rare oasis for people, wildlife, and the environment. The Rocky River Conservancy ensures that this park remains accessible, thriving, and meaningful for the entire community.

Every project we undertake protects the park’s unique ecosystem while providing opportunities for residents to connect with nature. By conserving the wetlands, RRC safeguards water quality, wildlife habitats, and a living space where generations of Anderson residents can learn, explore, and enjoy the outdoors.
